All draught beers are also available in 3, 5, 10 & 20 litre “Bag in Box” format to enjoy at home. The bag is sealed and the beer will stay fresh for at least a month if the seal remains unbroken. The tap on the bag has a non-return valve that prevents air from entering the bag when the beer comes out, so the beer keeps fresh for several days after the seal is broken – provided that you can wait that long! There are usually five or more beers on draught, the range changes daily.
You can also bring your own carrykeg or growler for a fill up. Large boxes (10 and 20 litres) should be pre-ordered.
The beer should be kept at temperatures between 10° and 14° Celsius; 12° is the ideal consumption temperature. The beer should not be kept refrigerated for a long period as the domestic fridge is usually set at 4° Celsius which is far too cold. It is O.K. to put it in the fridge to bring the temperature down if it rises above the top of the range, but it should not stay there for too long, as it will throw a haze which is harmless but unsightly.
What are the prices of the 3, 5, 10 & 20 litre “Bag in Box” formats to take home.
Thanks
The prices depend on the ABV %age of the beer.
3 litres ranges from £15.00 to £17:50.
