New canned beers from Magic Rock have been a regular feature at The Beer Shop recently.
Many of them are one-offs and consequently do not carry a bar code which makes for difficulties at the cash register but we cope with them. Currently there is a NEIPA, Stiggy Pop at 7.3%, a real cloudy full-flavoured example of this style . 500ml can costs £5.20.
One that has made it to regular production is Salty Kiss which was originally brewed as a collaboration with Kissmeyer Beer (Denmark) , this is Magic Rock’s take on a traditional German style Göse, flavoured with fruit, sea buckthorn and sea salt. Salty Kiss Gooseberry Göse 330ml can costs £2,40.
These are retail take away prices.
These additions join High Wire Pale Ale, High Wire Grapefruit Pale Ale at 5.5%, Inhaler at 4.5%, Saucery 4.3%, Fantasma, Dark Arts, Common Grounds, and Cannonball IPA 7.4%.
