Driving directions from the M60 motorway:
Leave the M60 at exit 1.
At the roundabout, take the exit that goes towards Didsbury Road the A5145.
Continue along Didsbury Road for one mile, then turn right onto Mauldeth Road.
Continue along Mauldeth Road for 0.8 mile, then turn left onto Kingsleigh Road.
The Beer Shop is on the left hand side after 50 metres.
Driving directions from South Manchester:
Find the Green End roundabout which is off Kingsway near Tesco, at the junction of Errwood Road, Burnage Lane (both M19) and Mauldeth Road (Stockport). Follow Mauldeth Road for about 300 metres, then Kingsleigh Road is on the right, opposite the main entrance to Heaton Moor Golf Club, on the left. The shop is on the left after the Londis convenience store, between the former contract cleaners and the hairdressers.
NOTE: There is another Mauldeth Road in south Manchester that runs from Burnage Lane to Chorlton, across Kingsway and Princess Parkway; this is NOT the one that you want.
Travelling by public transport:
By Rail to Burnage station on the Manchester Airport line. The station is less than ten minutes walk from The Beer Shop; alternatively, you can take the Manchester Stockport line and alight at either Levenshulme or Heaton Chapel for a longer walk.
By bus, use the following services (alight at stop before Green End if travelling from Stockport, otherwise the stop after Green End if travelling in the Stockport direction):
From Stockport Bus Station – Bus 25 or 197.
From outside Levenshulme Rail (westbound) – Bus 197
From Chorlton or Withington, take Bus 25 eastbound which runs along Mauldeth Rd (Manchester)
From West Didsbury, Burton Rd (northbound) – Bus 169
From Manchester (ex Albert Square / Princess Street) – Bus 197 via Plymouth Grove and Longsight
